Both have the same 3rd order hi-pass filter at 16 Hz. This is the same NSW compared to an HST-18 in a 12 cu ft cabinet and tuned to 14 Hz, also powered by 2500 watts. A 3rd order hi-pass at 12 Hz to keep excursion in check. Now let me tell you, this combo blows that one away. The clarity of sub and quality of the power from the amp is impressive. Nick said these are not going to hold up in the same manner as the SQLs and said the 750/1500 is a good figure. Pushing beyond could lead to thermal failure.
